The Signatory Superb opens with a refined two-layer spring architecture that blends hand-opened long-stranded Austrian Moosburger® horsetail with hand-teased Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere. This pairing shapes the feel and thermal behavior of the sleep surface, delivering a natural balance of resilience and comforting softness that evolves over nightly use rather than settling into a single moment of comfort.

The ticking combines wool, silk, and viscose for breathability and softness, conditioning the microclimate from first contact. The upholstery layers build in sequence—from resilient British fleece wool and the long, crimped horsetail to a finer blend of Real Shetland Wool and cashmere, then Real Shetland Wool with organic cotton for body and absorptive capacity. The two-layer vanadium steel calico pocket spring system offers independent response across 3,296 springs in a king size, while a coir and wool border, reinforced with hand side-stitching, maintains perimeter firmness and edge-to-edge usability. Each mattress is hand-tufted with woollen tufts and twine to compress the fillings into a stable depth at every tuft point.
